How Jenna balanced college life while healing her PCOS

The college atmosphere can really work against a woman with PCOS (hello, stress, alcohol, and lack of sleep!). On this episode of the Heal Your Hormones podcast, guest, Jenna, tells us how she has learned how to excel in college while also working toward healing her PCOS.
For Jenna, signs of PCOS began with weight struggles, cystic acne, insatiable hunger, and irregular periods in high school. As an athlete, she was told irregular periods were normal.
When we started working together in Spring of 2021 Jenna is now experiencing regular periods, no more bloating, better energy, and balanced hunger and moods.
In this episode, she tells the sweet story of how her dad was the one that figured out she was dealing with PCOS, the impact of college and Covid on her journey to healing, and how a big summer internship taught her the importance of managing stress for healthy hormones.
